Alternative: stalk Nissan. They have access to Renault vehicles and do have a presence in the US.

But badge engineering never really works, and Nissan can’t just take a bunch of cars and sell them.
Nissan could agree to sell the cars through its network, but Renault needs to make the initial decision.

I posted on their wall. I think rebadging is the best we will do. Fiat and Alfa’s start in America hasnt been a model to emulate, too risky for renault.

Not really, Renault could target millennials. They are too young to remember Le Car, and want to try new things, different from the Japanese and American brands they grew up with. And Renault’s diamond badge could be hip enough for them.
